In 2024, DEEPBLUE SMARTHOUSE successfully delivered the customized Monterey House one-story villa project in Mexico, marking another solid milestone in the brand’s layout of the Latin American prefabricated residential market. The project consists of 10 standardized single-story villas with identical layouts, tailored to the local mid-market residential demand and climatic construction characteristics of Mexico.
Each Monterey House unit adopts a scientific and space-saving construction specification, with a land coverage size of 20m × 7.8m and a standardized building area of 116 square meters. Adhering to DEEPBLUE SMARTHOUSE’s mature cold-formed light steel frame core technology, the entire building structure features high stability, strong wind resistance, seismic performance and durability, perfectly adapting to Mexico’s complex regional climate and long-term residential use needs. For exterior decoration, high-quality cement boards are adopted as the outer wall cladding, which is wear-resistant, weather-proof and low-maintenance, greatly reducing the later operation cost of residential buildings and fitting the cost-effective construction concept favored by local Mexican families.
The project adopts a classic U-shaped floor plan, a highly practical layout popular in North American and Mexican residential design. The open vacant space at the entrance creates a natural transitional courtyard, realizing a clear separation of dynamic and static areas. The left side of the villa is designed with a private bedroom equipped with an independent bathroom, ensuring exclusive privacy for family members or guest accommodation. A dedicated laundry room is arranged on the far right side to centralize daily household functions and optimize indoor space utilization.
In terms of internal living layout, the villa is equipped with spacious sliding glass entrance doors, which maximize natural lighting and indoor ventilation. The open-plan living room, kitchen and secondary dining area form a connected public activity zone, creating a spacious and transparent living atmosphere. Symmetrical bedrooms on the left and right sides of the house further enrich the residential space, meeting the daily living and family gathering needs of local households.
